We recognise that every child is unique and has his or her own educational, emotional and social needs. The school works to meet those needs and develop the child’s full potential.

We encourage pupils to develop and express their own opinions. They have input into making school/class/playground rules and negotiate rewards and sanctions. They vote for pupils to represent them on the School Council.

There is currently a public consultation regarding the proposal to close Greensted Infant School & Nursery and re-open as a Primary School on 1st September 2022.  The consultation period opened on 4th October 2021 and will close on 22nd November 2021. Click here for further information

COVID Information:

We are not required to send classes home to self-isolate in the event of positive cases in class.  If your child shows symptoms, of either a new & persistent cough, high temperature or loss of taste or smell, then they will be required to have a PCR test before they can return to school. 

if your child is identified by Test and Trace as a close contact of someone who tests positive, then they will be advised to have a PCR test but will not be required to self-isolate whilst waiting for the result.
